Qualifications

• Graduated from relevant departments of universities (Preferably Logistics Management/Industrial Engineering)

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position,

• Having experience in the automotive industry,

• Have a good level of English language skills,

• Theoretically, having a good command of Customs legislation and processes and/or wishing to improve themselves in this regard,

• Knowledgeable of Office programs, especially Excel,

• Analytical thinking skills, result oriented,

• Kocaeli's Çayırova, Gebze, Darıca; Residing or able to reside in the Pendik or Tuzla districts of Istanbul,

 Candidates who can meet the above-mentioned criteria will be evaluated.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Planning and reporting the necessary raw material/semi-finished product needs on a weekly/monthly basis, based on customer orders,

• Analyzing the orders of imported materials according to the material planning, opening a PO, sharing and tracking with suppliers,

• Obtaining the official permits and documents required for import and export and monitoring their validity periods,

• Planning the import transportation process and tracking the goods until they enter the warehouse,

• Execution of shipping processes according to customer delivery method agreements. (DAP, EXW)

• Taking an active role in reducing transportation costs by conducting freight research for shipments from countries in Europe, Asia and Africa, organizing the transportation process and reporting cost comparisons,

• Initiating the necessary insurance process in cases of damage/loss that may occur on the road or in warehouses and following it up until it is concluded,

• Working in coordination with the accounting and finance department regarding the processing of invoices and payments related to imports and exports. Preparation and archiving of necessary files after import and export transactions,

• To closely follow the markets and economies, customs and transportation regulations of the countries within the scope of duty,

• Ensuring coordination between production planning and warehouse,

• Ensuring inventory and safety stock optimization,

• Will follow and report supplier shipment performances and take timely precautions when necessary,

• Monthly stock analysis and reporting.
