As we continue to expand our markets, we are seeking a dynamic individual to join us as a Logistics Trainee at our Ortaköy location.

SAI is constantly striving towards expanding its markets and providing first-class service and expertise in the Agricultural Industry. With increasing logistics transactions, SAI is seeking to hire a new team member in logistics who will be working under the direct guidance of the Group Logistics Manager. If you have a passion for supply chain management and meet the following criteria, we want to hear from you:

Responsibilities:

• Order processing which includes issuing documentation confirmation of the purchase of merchandise, confirmation of sale of merchandise, and liaising with the supplier to track the readiness of merchandise for shipment.
• Via a select set of logistics service providers, obtain the best rates for shipment and ensure vessel booking.
• Pre-shipment, check all shipping documents for accuracy and ensure any amendments are correctly handled.
• After post-shipment responsibilities e.g. coordinate the compilation of a full set of the original shipping and commercial documents to the buyer.
• Maintain proper files with duplicate documents.
• Monitor the status of shipments and keep buyers and management updated.
• Prepare a weekly shipping dashboard to show the status of all orders and shipments.
• Responsible for samples to sample rooms in Africa, Europe, and Asia.
• Responsible for transmission of samples from suppliers to customers.
• Maintaining inventory reports of sample rooms.
• Maintaining inventory reports of stocks in depots and at the origin. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International trade, or a related field,
• Recent graduates or young professionals with limited working experience.
• Advanced English level.
• Good command of MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, and multi-tasking skills.
• Good reporting and presentation skills.
• Comfortable functioning both independently and as part of a team, meeting stringent deadlines while working on multiple projects and maintaining the highest work quality standards.
• No restriction for traveling abroad.
• No military obligation for male candidates.
