FINANCIAL REPORTING SENIOR SPECIALIST

As Aras Kargo, we are seeking for an experienced and highly professional Financial Control Senior Specialist to support our Budget Reporting Team. The ideal candidate brings willingness for supporting others, and his/her voice to contribute positive working environment. He/She should have considerable experienced with proven record of accomplishment.

You will play a proactive and major role in;

• Supporting month end closing activities and preparation of financial reports in accordance with IFRS and group accounting policies.
• Analyzing the financial statement accounts for accuracy and adequacy in line with IFRS, ensure reconciliations are performed in a consistent manner in line with procedures.
• Creating budget-realized reports on the basis of both financial results and operational KPIs by analyzing deviations from the budget.
• Supporting for planning and preparation of budget.
• Preparing periodical analysis of budget variances in terms of actual & forecast comparison.
• Preparing & reviewing consolidated financial reports and presentations to the management.
• Supporting other periodic and management & regulatory reporting, (management performance analysis etc.) covering the area of responsibility.
• Supporting external audit activities, and contribute in preparing the annual reports of the local entities.
• Participating in the implementation of improvements to financial reporting processes and systems.
• Meeting instant report and information requests from top management.
• Evaluating planned forecasts for the year-end report.
• Measure and improve the performance of the department, follow and meet the requirements; ensure coordination and standardization.
• Contributing to the determination of company strategies and policies.

Key Skills & Experience Required

• University degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Business Engineering and other related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in reporting and budgeting positions (having experience in big4 audit firms is preferred).
• Consolidation experience.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of IFRS.
• Ability to review financial statement, analyze financial data, prepare detailed reports, projections and statements in tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills, a passion for metrics and figures, and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture.
• Computer literacy with excellent excel skills and solid understanding of accounting software principles.
• Fluency in English is a must.
