Demand & Forecast Planner

We are looking for an ‘Demant & Forecast Planner’ to be located in Istanbul, Beyoğlu location.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain equivalent,
• Professional experience: 5+ years in a Demand Planning or Supply Chain Department,
• Experience within an IBP/S&OP environment,
• Experience statistical forecasting,
• Fluent in English & Turkish,
• Superior knowledge of MS Office Tools, desired volume management tools (OMP, etc..),
• Efficient written and oral communication skills to facilitate information flow across internal and external partners and senior leadership,
• Result-oriented with good analytical and strategic skills, ready to collaborate,
• Has a good understanding of demand consensus processes,
• Excellent knowledge of best in class forecasting processes,
• Has the capability to seeing the big picture with ability to dive into the details.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Coordinate the statistical, collaborative and consensus management process

• Prepare and report consolidated demand consensus forecast,
• Responsible for managing the demand planning and forecasting in coordination with Sales & Marketing business units,
• Identify gaps and changes vs. last cycle vs. budget,
• Challenge volume and value forecasts with analytics of historic developments and market trends,
• Create & Monitor statistical forecasts as an input for collaborative forecast,
• Coordinate the monthly demand forecast meeting with sales teams to collect important variances and achieve consensus for reflecting updated sales and marketing assumptions,
• Prepare reports of the demand review process for the supply review process and keep focus on data-driven decision making with these reports by analyzing product mix gap,
• Provide input to the Supply Planning organization by developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs,
• Ensure the 12-month consensus demand rolling forecast at aggregated S&OP level and the long term aggregated forecast for strategic exercises (i.e. budget).

Performance Management

• Monitor stock with analysis of sales, forecasts and supplies to prepare the decision for stock allocations to minimize write off risks ,
• Achievement of Supply Chain KPIs - Sales Forecasting Accuracy, BIAS, Service Level, Slow Moving Items,
• Take necessary actions to improve forecast accuracy on different levels (Product family, sales family, etc..) for different forecast groups (statistical, collaborative, consensus, etc..).
