Production & Lean Engineer

In order to support our growing operations in Turkey we are seeking a Production & Lean Engineer with following qualifications;

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Chemical
• Minimum 1 years of working experience in Production; knowledge of plastic extrusion is a plus
• Excellent understanding of manufacturing principles in a 3-shift production plant
• Field applied knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma, TPM, 5S,SMED  and LEAN Manufacturing tools and concepts
• Strong team player with excellent communication, problem solving, reporting and coordination skills
• Having worked within an international environment is a significant asset
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Proficiency in MS Office applications; SAP knowledge is a plus
• Experience in blue collar management , union experience is a plus
• Male candidates having completed their military service
• Having a valid driving license
• No restrictions for international travel

İŞ TANIMI

• Strengthen the engineering presence on our fiber optic cable production shop-floor by
  • Actively participating in our current capacity growth program
  • Supporting/driving 5S,TPM , ISO9001and LEAN activities to continuously improve the manufacturing flow
  • Taking part in plant wide KAIZEN initiatives
• Support the Operations organization in sustaining capability, process and improvements on the production shop-floor
• Act as Operations point of contact for the Quality department in
  • identifying, solving and putting corrective and preventive actions into place to overcome manufacturing issues
  • executing the manufacturing process according to the QM system driving a safe and secure work environment on the shop-floor
• Act as Operations point of contact for the Engineering department in
  • introducing process improvements
  • equipment upgrades
  • new line commissioning
• Act as Operations point of contact for the Maintenance department in organizing planned maintenance activities with maintenance department
• Play an active role in training production operators about process changes, equipment upgrades, procedural modifications
• Co-operate with the Scheduling function to track, analyze and report back manufacturing KPI’s
• Participate to studies about increasing efficiency of process ,  decreasing rate of waste, lost and re- operation
• Prepare production reports
