QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensures that the guests are well attended to during their stay at the hotel, achieving maximum guest satisfaction together with the team.
• Assists in creating a comforting work environment for the team.
• Monitors and ensures that all related operational procedures comply with hotel policies and standards.
• Successfully implements the VIP service standards set by the hotel, together with the team, and actively follows the Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) criterias.
• Will conduct ongoing trainings with existing team members and ensure that new team members are certified.
• Guides the colleagues and assists where necessary, while constantly keeping the Guest Xperience Manager updated on the operational progress.
• Assists in achieving the budget and revenue targets set for the department, assuring proper cost control.
• Will personally provide personal assistance services to assigned esteemed guests, during the length of their stay, when requested and required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ideally have a degree in hospitality with previous hotel experiences within the Rooms Division departments.
• Is required to have past experience in reaching budget targets, such as setting targets, reviewing numbers and adjusting operational needs accordingly.
• Required to possess excellent verbal and written English communications skills. Additional languages are an advantage.
• Computer literate and prior experiences with hotel systems; such as Opera, Triton, Micros software and Microsoft Office programs, are required.
• Have a history in preparing a work schedule for a larger team while evaluating the staffing requirements and adhering to budget goals.
• Have a familiarity with social media portals and/or online survey systems.
• Guest driven, pro-active and approachable character.

Possess the ability to; 

• work with minimal supervision and take own initiatives within limitations, maintaining the  hotel’s standards, policies and procedures
• successfully communicate and work close together with other departments of the hotel
• maintain a positive attitude at all times
• focus and understand guests' needs while remaining calm and courteous, providing suitable responses
• take responsibility of handling any guest complaints and request sin a calm manner and provide suitable solutions
• provide a personalized service with guests during a longer period of time
• prioritize, organize, delegate tasks and follow up on operation while paying attention to finer details
• work well under pressure of multiple arrivals/departures within any given period of time
• maintain discretion and confidentiality of all guests and internal company information at all  times
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including weekends, late evenings, early mornings and nights.
• Comfortable with working indoors and outdoors.
