To work in the finance department of our Project Contracting company headquartered in Karaköy, Istanbul.

COST CONTROLLER

• Evaluating project and conducting project cost/ benefit analysis.
• Conducting feasibility studies (technical and commercial aspects), assessing capital cost involved and evaluating the viability of new project evaluation techniques.
• Effectively lead and assist the tender team to achieve Company and individual objectives.
• Planning, directing, budgeting, scheduling, monitoring, controlling reporting various manufacturing & EPC projects.
• Identify the critical areas and inform the management regarding delays in the project.
• Responsible for controlling and monitoring project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
• Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of customer billing processes.
• Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
• Creating budget awareness and contributing in the management process, working within a multi-cultural environment and identifying critical activities and advising corrective action to avoid slippage.
• Having a broad perspective view between group company transactions, ensure follow up of each intra PO’s.
• Evaluating the quotations received technically based on the project specifications.
• Meeting with suppliers to discuss their proposed design and adjust them according to client’s requirements.
• Reviewing the technical submittals and drawings.
• Ensure the project cost risks are properly controlled, and where necessary, issue corrective and preventive actions.
• Achieves engineering operational objectives by contributing engineering information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining administrative system improvements; implementing change.
• Preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Develops strategic plans by studying operational plans; studying existing conditions; determining needs to accomplish operational plans; mapping solutions; updating and modifying requirements and solutions; preparing cost estimates and budgets.

QUALIFICATION:

• Min 6-7 years experience,
• Experience in sector,
• Advanced level of English,
• Preferably civil or mechanical engineering graduate,
• No travel restrictions.
