Job Description

Demand Planner position is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products. The Demand Planner creates and maintains forecast models for the customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailer replenishment analysts, and other sources.

• Generating short and long term statistical forecasts
• Owner of S&OP meetings
• Continuously improving forecasting techniques, method and approach
• Measuring and analyzing Forecast Accuracy and Forecast Bias KPIs
• Conduct current and future forecasting analysis, insuring forecasting processes and methods are followed
• Assemble and analyze all data related to creating the sales forecast (historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions etc.)
• Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends
• Lead forecast and inventory planning meetings
• Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering or related field; master degree is a plus
• Background in master scheduling, forecasting and planning
• Experience in forecast tools; using SAP APO is a plus
• Knowledge of demand management/forecasting tools
• 2+ years in Demand planning is a plus
• Very good command of MS Office
• Advanced level of written and spoken English
• Able to work in a multinational environment with employees from different cultures
• Strong analytical, organizational, decision making and presentation skills
