Powertrain Software & Control Expert

FEV Turkey

Qualifications:

• Great enthusiasm for working in powertrain and vehicle engineering fields
• Graduated from the Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Department of a reputable university
• Fluency in English
• A good and motivated team player, but also well prepared to work independently, output-oriented, and ready to take self-initiative with solution-oriented nature
• Willingness to travel (worldwide)

The following are not required but are a plus:

• German language
• Preferably qualified Ph.D. or MSc level in Engineering
  

Technical Qualifications:

• Background in diesel/gasoline internal combustion engines, aftertreatment systems, and vehicle systems control strategy development
• Understanding of conventional and hybrid control units (ECU, DCU, VCU, HCU, etc.) strategy
• Extensive knowledge of controls theory
• Experience in Matlab & Simulink for model-based software development
• Experience or knowledge in AUTOSAR & ASPICE
  
• Experience with software configuration management and version control software (TortoiseSVN, Git, etc.)
• Experience with calibration software (ETAS INCA, Vector CANape, ATI Vision, etc.)
• Knowledge of hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems & software testing
• Knowledge of C/C++ programming & software integration

Job Description:

• Create software requirements & support customers to define software features and system interfaces
• Develop control models using Matlab/Simulink tool chain for engines, aftertreatment systems, and hybrid vehicles
• Integrate, and merge different software components to build a complex software architecture
