QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma or degree in tourism and hotel management or business administration,

Minimum 2 years of experience at the same position in a 5-star city hotel (preferably international),

Excellent command of written and spoken English is required, second language is an asset,

Excellent command of MS Office applications and OPERA property management system,

Attitude over skills,

Strong communication skills, the ability to persuade and predisposition towards teamwork,

Stronger aspect of time management and planning,

Analytical approach to problem solving, result oriented,

JOB DESCRIPTION

To provide information to guests concerning rates, availability of rooms, description of facilities and services, and information.

To ensure the continuity and operational consistency during the daily operation.

Receives processes and confirms guest room reservations made by/for clients over the phone, via e-mail.

Oversee accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes.

Review and implement new Reservations procedures.

Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type.

Verify availability of room type and rate.

Answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations.

Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.

Respond to any challenges found for accommodating rooming requests.

Troubleshoot, resolve, and document guest issues and concerns or escalate/refer to appropriate individual.
