Raw Material Planning Specialist

Job Overview

We are now looking for a Raw Material Planning Specialist to be a member of IFF Planning team in our Gebze site.

Responsibilities;

• Using the MRP (Material Requirement Planning) to evaluate the need and quantity of material to order, to ensure we have material coverage without causing obsolescence. In doing so keeping in line with the supply strategy established by GP (Global Procurement) and Regional Planning division,
• Expediting orders and updating the system to support manufacturing planning decisions,
• Handling local and import raw material orders, follow up import procedures with     customs brokerage company and vendors,
• Checking invoice and import related documents of purchased items,
• Checking /defining  safety stock levels and MRP parameters  for raw materials,
• Informing Regional Master Planners on time, in full,
• Handle routine rejections, keeping GP informed of any supply issues. Keeping SAP updated. Keeping Key Performance Indicators and spread sheets updated for departmental use,
• Generate reports related to planning function.

Job Requirements;

• BS Degree in Industrial Engineering , Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering,
• 2-3 year of experience within a manufacturing-buying-planning environment (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply),
• Knowledge of MRP ( SAP etc ) would be an asset,
• Good communication, organizational skills, able to prioritize work load and the ability to  work well in a team environment,
• Fluent in both verbal & written English,
• Resident in Kocaeli and Asian side of Istanbul or willing to relocate.
