Mechanical Engineer

Franklin Electric, one of the leading manufacturers of international water and fueling systems, is looking for an‘’Mechanical Engineer’’ in Engineering Departmant. The position will be based at Impo Motor Pompa San. Tic. A.S. Izmir site, which is the leader of Turkish submersible pump industry.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Advanced skills and experience in mechanical design, Knowledge of PTC Creo and AutoCAD would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of product design tools, such as GD&T, tolerance stack up analysis, DFMEA, DVP&R, etc.
• High communication and organization skills, a good team player
• Sense of responsibility, good in time & stress management
• Strong technical reporting and presentation skills
• Dynamic, detail oriented, has principle of planned work
• Has analytical mindset, has problem solving abilities
• Knowledge in project management tools
• Strong planning and follow-up skills, success and result oriented
• Experience in project management would be a plus (PMP certificate is a plus)
• Has knowledge on design, verification and qualification periods in project lifecycle
• Fluent both spoken and written in English (interviews will be in English)
• MS Office skills
• No restriction for travelling (both domestic and abroad)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for product drawings and specifications, their accuracy and conformity with Franklin Electric standards
• Contributes actively to the technical definition of product improvements or new product developments
• Leads the analysis of competitor parts
• Is responsible for product design documentation
• Leads the team to determine, plan, implement, control and complete the necessary steps to ensure project success
• Understands project constraints and goals
• Organizes technical meetings and project reviews with global team
• Leads & executes prototype and sample production and coordination with the relevant departments
• Participates in PFMEA’s review
• Leads the entire organization during the transition phase of the project till serial production
• Identifies potential developments and risks in projects and proposes solutions
