                                                  MATERIAL PLANNING ASSOCIATE

What this position is about - Purpose:

Material Planning Associate is mainly responsible for ensuring a continuous and smooth production by planning and determining material requirements against the Production Plan. This person will optimize material requirements and purchase requisitions according to the production and duration. He/she will act as a live link between Production Planning and PPO. He/She will also be supporting reports of the Material Planning group, will be analyzing SAP functions, and adopt new practices for daily business. 

What will you do - Responsibilities:

• Running Material Requirement Planning (MRP) process effectively for all materials
• Following shelf life expiration dates of all items and reflecting to supply plan
• Creating Purchase Requisitions in accordance with the requirements calculated after MRP run, taking into account parameters like container size and targeted inventory coverage
• Reviewing open purchase orders weekly and determining needs of expedite or delay against updated MRP
• Preparing materials requirement forecasts for Purchasing group (to be sent to suppliers) periodically
• Working in close contact with all related departments to ensure a smooth transition during launch, relaunch and material/code changes in terms of material planning
• Giving support to Quality team in terms of Material defects, coordinate and define the problems with Production, QA and external partners, as well as implementing corrective actions
  

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering,
• Minimum 2years of experience in Supply Chain,
• Advanced level of English knowledge,
• Advanced level of MS Office and Macros knowledge is desirable,
• SAP knowledge is an asset.
