What about the role?

We’re looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist in HQ office in Istanbul. The role reports to Procurement Manager.

 The role will effectively run the procurement process for POS materials that company needs.

What you will be doing?

• Selecting the suitable supplier from the supplier database or searching for a new supplier for the requested material/service. 
• Getting in contact with the potential suppliers in order to collect information and samples of new materials/services.
• Starting a tender or RFP and strategic negotiating with the suppliers for yearly or total budgets, payment terms and delivery dates.
• Selecting the best supplier with necessary sourcing, contract management, risk management, and monitoring supplier performance and collaboration management according to the requests/needs.
• Continuous improvement,  following business trends and cost control for the existing or potential materials/services. Adding new suppliers to supplier database.

• Broad knowledge about types, specifications, costs and sources of POS materials.
• Contract management skills for materials and services
• Market and product research skills for cost control
• Communication skills needed to bring stakeholders & suppliers
• Successful implementation of projects
• Knowledge to understand budgets and savings strategies

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree
• Min. 5 years of experience in procurement
• Minimum upper-intermediate level of English English is a must both writing and speaking.
• MS Office applications
• SAP/SRM knowledge
• Analytical and result oriented
• Good communication skills and Good team player
