QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- R&D Software Engineer will develop future BMS technologies with a hardworking team of engineers in a highly reciprocal and multi-functional environment.
- The ideal individual will be proficient in this field, who has experience developing and commercializing robust battery management solutions for consumer, industrial, telecom or automotive products.
- Be a part of a team developing new class of battery systems involving algorithms, architectures and products as we improve the utility of batteries.
- Taking an active role in prototype development, prototype assembly and testing.
- BSc /MSc in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related field
- Experience in Embedded Systems,
- Implement requirements using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow ,
- Design hardware and software systems for battery protection, charging and gauging
- Strong coding skills, preferably in C,
- Knowledgeable with communication protocols such: CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, RS etc,
- Strong understanding of battery modeling and control theory,
- Ability to independently learn new technologies, prototype and design software solutions,
- Experience with SW requirement definition and SW development process,
- Experience in innovative and creative SW product development in battery or automotive electronic domain,
- Ability to tackle problems,
- Follow full life-cycle of product development process,
- Proficiency with lab equipment (solder, oscilloscopes, electronic loads, signal generators, etc),
- Strong EE fundamentals in electronic circuit design/development with microcontroller-based embedded system,
- Familiarity with power semiconductors, microprocessors, DC-DC power supplies, and communication circuits,
- Stay up to date with technology trends and vendor roadmaps,Advanced English writing and speaking skills,
- Exceptional organization and communication skills.
