Senior Mine Geology Engineer

We are looking for dynamic, pro-active, analytical approached, enthusiastic, innovative, passionate, and self-motivated Senior Mine Geology Engineer for our project in Develi.

What awaits you in this role?

• Assuming an active role for grade control, geological logging of blast holes, pit walls mapping, and convenient production faces works, 
• Preparing the pit walls mapping and production faces for contributing to development and update of the geological and alteration models,
• Being responsible of preparing of the grade control maps for every pattern in timely manner, 
• Being a guide for workers in ore spotting about ensuring maximum ore recovery and minimal dilution of ore,
• Assisting the Geology team regarding to the unit goals and objectives,
• Being responsible at improvement of drill patterns, monitoring of drillers and supervision of sampling; preparing ore control worker's schedules, supporting them in daily issues when they needed,
• Controlling samples’ labeling, transportation, and submission to laboratory,
• Providing and assisting inputs into weekly and monthly reports in timely manner,
• Providing 3D geological construction and alteration models,
• Preparing and updating the geological and mineralogical sections and maps,
• Determining of potential ore targets,
• Being part to discover most efficient and effective grade control parameters to use ore sources in the most beneficial and economic manner,
• Performing weekly safety meetings with department staff,
• Preparing of Mine Geology unit instructions and procedures,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Geological Engineering, 
• At least 5 years of job experience, preferably in open pit gold mining,
• Working experience in multinational and English-speaking environment,
• Excellent command of English both written and verbal,
• Collaborative approach to working with others and strong team ethic,
• Self-disciplined and self-starter,
• Effective communication and presentation skills,
• Team player, result-oriented with strong planning and organization skills,
• Good command of MS Office Applications and geology-specific software programs (Leapfrog, MineSight, ArcGIS etc.),
• Current valid driver license (SRC license will be plus),
• Living in or willing to relocate to Develi, Kayseri.
