Product Development Leader

I am looking for a "Product Development Leader" for a French Automotive Company, which has a global leadership status in the main fields of activity of Automotive Seats Systems, Emission Control Technologies and Interior Systems, which I am consulting.

Ø  Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Outomotiv , Industry Engineering or another Technical / Engineering Degree,

Ø  Min 5 years experience in Development within an industrial environment, ideally in the automotive industry,

Ø  Knowledge and experience in Project Management process

Ø  International mind set,

Ø  High level of business monitoring and responsibility,

Ø  Ambitious to make carrier in the automotive sector,

Ø  Ability to work as part of an international team, strong communication skills,

Ø  Strong communication skills in technical environment,

Ø  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision,

Ø  Advanced MS Office skills,

Ø  Native speaker of English, intermediate level of French.

Ø  No obstacle for domestic and international traveling.

Ø  Will be able to reside in Bursa.

Scope of work;

Ø  Begin with concept design received from Concept Engineering to Start-Of-Production + 3/6 months (once quality standards have met customer specifications), from PMS phase 2 to phase 4 when in development

Ø  Start of phase 5 is when he or she is in charge of serial life development

Ø  Build the internal engineering schedule to match with the customer master schedule and industrialization / purchasing constraints.

Ø  All tasks are done with the appropriate tools and in compliance with the PMS work-packages, FES standards & 7-Quality-Basics, in support of functional milestone “time to pass” objective.

Ø  Reporting: Monthly report summary on PRC-template, including risk and opportunities and corresponding action plans.

Ø  Capitalize experience on the development through lessons learnt process.

Ø  Lead product definition (completion of CAD completed by Design Leader) and development to ensure compliance to requirements (acceptance of customer product specification including geometry convergence)

Ø  Formally release/approve internally the DATA-levels that are given to the customer

Ø  Make the functional analysis when required, develop the DFMEA and complete the action plan, support the PFMEA, and define the key characteristics.

Ø  Establish and manage the bill of materials within Firm PDM.

Ø  Enter all technical issues into a “single list of issues”

Ø  Manage engineering change through ECM process

Ø  Lead the action plan to solve all technical issues (including perceived quality problems)

Ø  Implement firm standards and guidelines and manage potential conflicts with customer’s standards with PoC (internal deviation approval).

Ø  Manage BOP definition release

Ø  Support risk management through robust design with compliance to product/process

Ø  Design standards (per KM plan), and managing cross-functional reviews (PPDR)
