We are looking for an “Accounting Executive” in our Head Office located in Ankara. A brief job description of the position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined below:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or other Administrative Science departments,
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the same field,
• Good knowledge of Turkish uniform chart of accounts and taxation rules,
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA-SMMM),
• Knowledge of SAP-FI is a must, knowledge of S4HANA is a plus,
• Excellent use of Microsoft Office applications; specifically, Microsoft Excel,
• Excellent written and spoken English skills,
• Professional qualification/degree in finance/accounting- MBA, CMA, or similar would be a plus,
• Big 4 background is a plus,
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to function effectively in a team environment and gain the cooperation of individuals across the organization,
• Genuinely interested in developing others and works cooperatively with peers, management, subordinates, and other departments,
• No military obligation for male candidates,
• Integrity, accuracy, and time management.

Job Description:

• Perform all tasks related to accounting (book keeping, month-end and year-end transactions, reconciliation of accounts, postings for fixed assets, revaluations etc.),
• Perform all tasks related to statutory tax management (tax planning, requirements from legal tax authorities, preparation of all kinds of tax declarations/reports, payment of taxes, handling the VAT refund process, tax audits, tax projections, etc.),
• Handle the communication with all the internal and external parties related to accounting and tax issues, including the auditors,
• Perform monthly statutory reconciliation of vendor/customer invoices (BA-BS forms),
• Follow up E-ledger, E-invoice process.
