We’re looking for  Flavor Quality Control Executive who will be part of our growing team at Seluz Fragrance & Flavor Company in Silivri, İstanbul.

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduated from Food Engineering or similar departments of universities
• At least 5 years of experience in the field of Quality Control and Laboratory in food industry
• Have good command of English
• Able to use Office Programs well
• Having knowledge in laboratory analysis, experienced in raw material, auxiliary material, finished product analysis,
• Experienced in using analytical devices (HPLC, GC-MS knowledge is preferred),
• No military service for male candidates

MAIN TASKS

• To make physical and chemical analyzes of all raw materials & products and packaging material, to check their compliance with specifications; to make an acceptance or rejection decision based on the reported control, test and analysis results; to ensure that reference samples of accepted material are taken and stored for the prescribed period.
• To have the packaging material, label and other material checked for correctness and suitability in accordance with the procedures.
• To carry out the necessary quality control procedures, tests and analyzes in order to determine whether the raw material, the packaging material, other material that may directly or indirectly affect the product quality, or the conformity of the samples received/sent with the specifications, until the final product coming out of the production lines can be shipped to the customer; to report the results to the units along with their opinions and suggestions
• To monitor the performance of the personnel, to provide trainings to the personnel on current and necessary issues
• Making presentations when necessary
• Working in accordance with Food Safety Management System applications
• To carry out corrective and preventive actions, to work in coordination with other quality and production managers
• To control whether the production process is carried out in accordance with the standards
• Making analyzes related to control procedures or having them done by accredited external laboratories
• Preparing analysis reports in line with the analyzes made
• Carrying out control procedures at raw material acceptance and the acceptance of packaging material
• Controlling the records to be kept within the Quality Management System.
