I&C Engineer (Fresh Engineer)

Job Description Summary

The I&C (Instrumentation & Controls) Software Engineer works within the I&C Engineering team of the Shanghai Shangdian Electric Power Operation Company Adana Branch(2x660 MW HUNUTLU Power Plant). The I&C team is responsible for designing and implementing I&C electronic hardware and software for I&C systems for  Power Plants. The I&C software team has strong interfaces with electronic hardware design and plant system operations. This role requires technical problem solving, strong software skills and effective communication-collaboration with other teams within the SEPO business functions.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

The I&C Software Engineer is responsible for the delivery of high-quality engineering software. Work scope typically includes the following essential responsibilities:

1?Develop creative solutions and reduce complexity to create accurate and effective solutions for complex engineering problems.

2?Typical software activities will include preparing design specifications, developing software, performing module testing, and integration testing of the design. Performing Code Reviews and verifications of Design Specifications and Reports.

3?Engage customers to define scope, review results, and discuss technical risks.

4?Work with the technical leader to establish an effective work plan, including time estimates, schedule estimates, requirements and work processes.

5?Apply engineering fundamentals and engineering principles to establish and-or confirm expected performance.

6?Provide clear and complete analysis documentation in accordance with SEPO engineering procedures.

7?Manage time effectively to provide quality deliverables within the expected project timeline. Communicate effectively to leadership the status of work activities

8?Effectively manage multiple priorities

Basic Qualifications

1?Bachelor’s Degree inElectrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communications, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation&Control Engineering from an TOP20 university in Turkey.

2?Minimum cumulative 3.0-4.0 GPA or equivalent

3?Minimum of 1 year of experience in software development including knowledge of common computer languages and software development tools (Version control, IDE’s, Debuggers, etc).

4?Taken automatic control, PLC and micro processors classes at university

5?Ability to work as part of a team

6?Flexible, adaptable and collaborative willing to engage across the design disciplines

7?Fluent in English(TOFEL or IELTS score)

8?Communication and problem-solving skills

9?Under the age of twenty eight

10?Location round Adana or Ceyhan

11?Accept overseas training courses

12?Accept shift work

13?No military obligation for male candidates

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
