Key accountabilities

 

• Plan, lead and guide all aspects of the Bar operation, Terrace, Private Dining Spaces in conjunction with the Restaurant General Manager.
• Design and develop the restaurant and bar beverage menu, recipes, training of the employees and implementation process.
• Ensure Restaurant expectations are well disseminated to the operational team.
• Coach, mentor, and guide Bar employees to achieve optimal performance in all phases of service and job functions, to ensure staff retention and engagement remain high.
• Develop new recipes and providing beverage program and menu planning.
• Responsible for beverage stock control and ordering.
• Establish standards especially during pre-opening.

 

General requirements

 

• Detail oriented with the ability to manage a large Bar opening and beyond
• 4 to 6 years of experience in the domestic and overseas restaurants at high standards in the relevant fields of food & beverage industry in a similar role within diverse Head Barmen.
• Experienced in managing fine dining establishments, plus market leading bar and bespoke events
• Strong leader with experience of managing diverse and large teams
• Experienced in pre-opening restaurants 
• High capability of persuasion and solution-oriented thinking 
• Adaptability to intense work pressure 
• Natural, energetic, friendly, and well-groomed
• Good command of Office programs
• Fluent in English language proficiency.
