Job Description:

As the Senior Geologist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our gold exploration projects and contributing to the growth of our exploration portfolio. Reporting directly to the Project Generation Manager, you will utilize your expertise in reconnaissance, geochemical sampling, geophysical surveys, mineralogy, and related tools to drive exploration success. Your insatiable curiosity and passion for understanding mineral systems will be instrumental in developing tectonic and project-scale models.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Applied Geology, or Mineral Exploration; Master's degree preferred.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in gold exploration, with a strong emphasis on reconnaissance and target generation.
• Intimate understanding of magmatic-hydrothermal ore systems including porphyry, epithermal, orogenic, VMS, intrusion related, sediment hosted and carbonate-replacement styles.
• Solid understanding Türkiye’s regional geology and metallogeny.
• Proven expertise in geochemical sampling, geophysical surveys, and mineralogical analysis.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing geochemistry in exploration and developing tectonic and project-scale models.
• Good working knowledge of GIS in exploration and 3D exploration software packages on evaluating any interested target.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with geostatistical techniques and resource estimation methods preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in listed mining companies; membership in recognized professional organizations preferred.

 Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed reconnaissance and fieldwork to identify and evaluate gold exploration targets.
• Plan and execute geochemical sampling, geophysical surveys, and mineralogical studies to characterize mineralization.
• Utilize geochemical data and advanced analytical techniques to interpret exploration results and guide target generation/evaluation.
• Develop and implement GIS-based targeting frameworks and 3D modeling techniques to enhance exploration efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct geostatistical studies to assess resource potential and optimize drilling programs.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate geological, geochemical, and geophysical data.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and technological advancements in gold exploration.
• Represent the company professionally in external meetings, conferences, and industry forums.
• To create, supervise and follow up field work plans of relevant field workers during mineral exploration/drilling periods. Providing information and support to the project manager/Project Geologist regarding the follow-up of the work done.
