QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or relevant department,
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in fabric buying & development in textiles,
• Experienced in silk and cashmere scarf, home decoration fabric groups,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• No travel restriction,
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, coordination, communication skills,
• Excellent problem solving and crisis management skills,
• Analytical, proactive, commercial perspective, planning and time management skills,
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications, 
• Having B type driving license and active driver.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To provide the fabric purchasing process at the best quality, optimum price and on time, taking into account the requested products and deadlines,
• To follow new fabric trends by keeping in constant contact with fabric suppliers,
• Creating fabric librariesin accordance with Vakko standards and ensuring that these libraries are kept up-to-date,
• To follow the international and domestic fabric procurement process, to search for alternative fabric suppliers, to carry out price negotiations and approval processes,
• Managing and developing purchasing, warehouse processes and supplier relations,
• To follow up fabric stocks and costs,
• To follow the laws and regulations regarding fabric purchasing processes and to ensure that the application is updated within the company,
• Performing market analysis and monitoring, reporting to senior management and preparing presentations.
