We are looking for a "Heat Treatment Shopfloor Engineer" located inGebze/Kocaeli to be employed in our international clients in steel sector.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduation from Materials and Metallurgical Engineering Departments of reputable universities.

• Minimum 3 – 4 years of similar experience.

• Advanced level of English.

• Good MS Office skills.

• Knowledge on Lean Management.

• Awareness of Health and Safety process.

• Experience of working with blue collars.

• Residence in / near Gebze or in Anatolian side of Istanbul.

• Completion of military service for male candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Collect all process related forms and information, prepare them according to the customer needs and material characteristics and hand over to the shift supervisor.

• Inform his / her immediate supervisor on the deficiencies observed in the shopfloor and suggest & perform corrective actions.

• Control all the forms filled by the shift supervisor in order to complete them if necessary.

• Ensure that all customer materials are processed according to the forms and control the process.

• Provide technical consultation to the customers.

• Inform the shopfloor manager for the shopfloor needs.

• Work for reducing the customer complaints.

• Work on cost reduction and shopfloor efficiency.

• Ensure all safety measures are taken in the shopfloor.

• Ensure all equipments are used according to the predefined guidelines.

• Manage all Lean and 5S processes of the shopfloor.
