For our growing IT team, we are looking for bright, hardworking and enthusiastic team members to take an active role in the functions such as Systems Planning and IT Operations which are based in YILPORT Holding HQ in Maslak and Gebze or Gemlik Terminals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree from Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics or other related programs,
• Have minimum 3-4 years of IT Operations/ On-site Support/ System and Planning along with technical and/ or application support preferably based on ITIL best practices guideline,
• Good command of written and spoken English,
• Very well understanding of computer hardware, Microsoft OS, 365, smartphones and printers, field operations equipment,
• Certificated Microsoft & ITIL etc. are preferable,
• Ability to provide technical support and resolve queries, determine IT needs and train end-users,
• Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics,
• Excellent analytical, teamwork and multi-tasking skills,
• Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline oriented environment,
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with a diverse workforce at all levels in a multi-cultural environment and team,
• Ability to identify areas of potential improvement and recommend solutions,
• Good team players and methodical problem-solvers with an aptitude for learning and quickly adapting new skills,
• Able to travel when required, 
• Able to work out of business hours when required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

If you are interested in working on;

Systems Planning: 

• Provide support for the IT Leadership team in aligning IT strategy with the business strategy/goals,
• Search and analyze technology trends and propose solutions for the improvement and optimization of current systems.
• Prepare new technical designs, cost – benefit analysis to support business and IT projects,
• Help/ support of root cause analysis of the problems and create action plans for the permanent solutions,
• Develop solutions for the operational excellence with reduced costs,
• Co-operate with other IT teams to create the optimum solutions while preparing technical designs for the projects,
• Lead- Contribute Change Control and Configuration Management processes,
• Prepare the change request forms and required configuration management documents,
• Prepare required documentation, templates for his /her own area,
• Provide Level 2 / 3 support for incidents/ problems, maintain root cause analysis and take action for the permanent solutions,
• Work with the business and IT project managers and support required IT activities, maintain the reports and escalate the issues in a timely manner,
• Support IT Ops team to ease and optimize operational functions by delivering new solutions / automations etc.,
• Provide end to end delivery of IT projects and handover to Operations,
• Contribute to asset management of his/ her own area,
• Maintain required documentation of his/ her own area,
• Support the Team Leader to maintain IT Disciplines such as Change Management, Configuration and contribute all other policies and procedures,
• Prepare CAPEX budget.

If you are interested in working on;

IT Operations:

• Provide IT Operations (monitoring of Systems, handling scheduled jobs like backup, file transfer, scripted functions etc.),
• Monitor all alarms generated by the Systems and taking required actions by managing the crisis desk for level 1-2 problems,
• Provide Level 1 / 2 support for all IT problems and requests coming from the users and maintain asset management for end user systems,
• Handle Service Desk function with a good Customer satisfaction,
• Make regular Alarm – ticket – request trend and category analysis and generating meaningful problems to initiate corrective actions,
• Support root cause analysis of the high severity and recurring problems,
• Support IT Ops Team lead to maintain IT Disciplines such as Problem / Incident Management, Resource (capacity) Management, Asset Management andcontribute all other policies and procedures,
• Prepare OPEX budget,
• Maintain Data Centers, system rooms, servers, network, video/ voice/ CCTV/ radio systems,
• Follow up vendor performance monitoring,
• Keep all the inventories up to date including the licenses,
• Follow up asset life cycle (inventories, End of life system renewals, planning budgeting).
