ZF Group company ZF Sachs Turkey, located in Gebze-Kocaeli, producing shock absorbers for vehicles, is looking for a qualified professional for Purchasing Department for its growing organization. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of progressive experience in a professional purchasing capacity (i.e. technical/commodity purchasing, purchasing project management, etc.)
• Experience with APQP and PPAP
• Project Management tools, methods and knowledge
• Deep knowledge of purchasing tools, negotiation methods, and business communications
• Working Knowledge of cost improvement/containment topics and VAVE techniques
• Working knowledge in blueprint reading, statistics and Product Costing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project etc.)
• Superior analytical abilities with a high attention to detail
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast paced, high-volume environment
• Proven ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management
• Solid organizational and time/project management skills
• Experience with SAP
• No military obligation for male candidates

Job Description

• Provide guidance to Commodity Buyers and execute complex purchasing initiatives related to new program sourcing in the acquisitions phase.
• Manage Sourcing Decision Process pipeline (SWAT) for new projects and coordination of handover process with the Commodity Organization for awarded projects.
• Responsible for Launch Management Process, Timing tracking and Supplier Readiness including Prototypes for awarded business (components).
• Serve as a primary liaison for purchasing department between sales, program management, quality, engineering, prototype lab, and logistics groups to resolve issues as needed; manage escalations within purchasing department and serve as back-up for Purchasing Manager as required.
• Coordination of Product Change Management Process (internal interface) and Supplier Change Implementation when needed.
• Analyze quotations from suppliers to ensure technical feasibility, total cost of ownership, tooling ownership, metal market specifics, and related facets to determine the best option for total cost management and initial cost estimation for new projects; ensure appropriate distribution of RFQs to supply base by Commodity.
• Manage prototypes supply base, directed buy components and intercompany components.
• Develop cost savings methods and opportunities to promote overall BU productivity and supplier competitiveness (through VA/VE methods).
• Analyze region and IAM supply base to recommend suppliers to be added/removed from the approved supplier list
• Understand and ensure compliance with all IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, and VDA requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned.
